Producer Information
A mixed case of 12 bottles containing a bottle of each of the following wines:-
- 1) Fiano Bianco Miopasso
Fine, well- balanced wine with fresh flavours and a touch of honey. Floral and delicious
2) Lugana Nunzio Ghiraldi Garda
Crisp, dry and very fresh. Full and dry on the finish. Beautifully balanced.
3) Grillo Appassimento Miopasso
Super ripe complexity from partially air-dried grapes with plenty of grippy acidity on the mid palate. Clean long dry finish. Can be drunk as an aperitif but has the weight to partner substantial meals.
4) Primitivo Macramé Il Pastini Puglia
Layered ripe fruit over a dense mid palate with a long juicy finish. Not too heavy like many Mandurian and Salento wines, this is perfectly balanced and a treat.
5) Montepulciano D’Abruzzo Le Salare Cantina Barba
Smooth, medium bodied wine with savoury fruit flavours and a long finish from this classic variety
6) Nero D’Avola Appassimento Miopasso
Air-drying this variety takes it to another dimension. The thick sun-defying skins add colour and texture whilst the ripe fruit gives this mouthfilling wine depth and length. Fantastic fruit expression.
7) Archivio Pecorino Tombacco Terre di Chiete
Beautiful, full flavoured well balanced wine with plenty of complex fruit and a long full finish.
8) Pinot Grigio 2021 Villa Benizi Venezie
Delicious, fresh very well made wine from this exemplary producer. Floral, elegant, fruity and dry.
9) Soave 2020 Torre Vescovi Vicenza
In these hands the Garganega variety is rich, citrussy, dry and complex. Lovely on its own or with food. This is as good as many Classico wines.
10) Barbera D’Alba 2019 Mommiano Porello Roero
Clean, sappy savoury wine with a dry long finish. This underrated style is perfect with rich meat dishes, like those of its native region, Piedmont.
11) Cabernet 2020 Cadia Torre Vescovi Veneto
Soft, claretty style with ripe bramble fruits and a smooth finish. Medium bodied and easy drinking.
12) Valpolicella Negrar 2018 Veneto
Very fresh young wine with Black Cherry flavours and a sinewy style that complements classic pasts dishes. Clean dry finish. Delicious
